Silver Linings Playbook, based on Matthew Quick’s novel of the same name, strikes home on so many emotional levels. It is a real story about real people . . . they all have problems and quirks . . . like all of us. The two protaganists are flawed and slightly off-key but good people trying to do the right thing, and that is all anyone can ask of any of us.
Among the takeaways from this movie are:
- It is better to be kind than right
- You are never in this life alone
- We’re all a little messed up and that’s OK!
